OnePlus Nord to reach us on July 21

And Yeah! Oneplus is about to release a budget-friendly phone for its fans. The last time they launched a phone at lesser cost was the OnePlus X in 2015.

This phone which is yet to be released was rumored as OnePlus Z but now it has been officially announced as OnePlus Nord by the company. Nord is going to be a new series of the brand to launch affordable smartphones.

Now, people have started asking “What does the word Nord mean?”. For which the Co-founder of OnePlus, Carl Pei tweeted, “It comes from the concept of true north. We each have this inner compass that guides us. This product line reminds us to always search for our true north, and we hope it will keep reminding you of yours.”

OnePlus has confirmed that the Nord model has Qualcomm snapdragon 765G 5G processor within a 6.44 inch fluid AMOLED display and is said to run on Oxygen OS, Android 10. In terms of optics, we have the quad-rear camera with 64MP(wide) x 16MP (ultrawide) x 2MP(macro), 2MP(depth), dual-LED quality and dual punch-hole selfie cameras with 32MP (wide) x 8MP(ultrawide).

Now, we have the important part, the OnePlus Nord has the Li-Po 4200 mAh battery with 30W fast charging capacity.

Similar to the recently released OnePlus 7, Nord has frosted glass panel and type C port.

OnePlus Nord 5G is rumored to come in two variants 128GB/6GB, 128GB/8GB and 256GB/12GB.

It is expected to come in three vibrant colors – Blue Marble, Grey Ash, and Grey Onyx.
