LG offers a huge variety of electronics in the market. Now, in the line, we have the new LG Velvet smartphone.
LG usually maintains the design only with few changes. But after quite a few years, it has changed the design of the display which is outstanding.
The rear of the mobile is sleek and draped with colorful Gorilla glass and a line of cameras. Moreover, the smartphone is extremely thin, 7.99 mm thick.
The velvet P-OLED curved display is about 6.8 inches thick with a resolution of 1080 x 2460 pixels and an aspect ratio of 20.5: 9. LG used the 1.8 GHz Octa-core, Qualcomm snapdragon 765G processor, and runs on Android 10 OS. LG implemented a magnetic add-on with eight pins that allow the 25W fast wired charging to power the 4,300 mAh battery, and it also supports Qi wireless charging that works through the case.
The attractive feature is the rear camera with 48 + 8 + 5 MP with LED flash and 16 MP front camera appearing in a teardrop style notch cutout.
LG decided to use the 3D audio engine instead of the Quad DAC, which was used in LG V60. It seems that the color temperature is very accurate.
We have 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB internal memory. And yes, we can add an external micro-SD card having the capacity up to 1TB.
LG Velvet was launched in Aurora Green, Aurora Gray, Aurora White, and Illusion Sunset colors. The Illusion sunset is a really impressive cool color with a combination of pink, red, and golden which may change its appearance depending upon the light under which we keep the phone.
