Huawei Mate 50 5G; Huawei’s next step on building the 5G ecosystem
Ryan Ding, Executive Director of the Board and President of Huawei’s Carrier BG, delivered a keynote titled “5G, Bring New Value” at the launch which was held in London in February 2020. Huawei releases an innovative 5G microwave solution that offers a single-link with 50 Gbps bandwidth. The company is aiming to make 5G a commercial success.
Huawei became the first company worldwide to launch the industry-first 5G commercial chip with the Balong 5G01.
With 4G, people can share their videos and voices. However, with the ultra-high bandwidth offered by 5G, people will be able to enjoy immersive AR and VR experiences, allowing them to convey their thoughts and feelings like never before.
The smartphone flaunts a 6.8 inches OLED screen and runs on Android 11 OS. It is powered by the non-removable Li-Ion 6000 mAh battery.
The primary camera is expected to have 208 MP with LED Flash and the front camera to have 108 MP along with a screen resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels (403 ppi density, approx).
Sensors include an in-display fingerprint sensor, accelerometer, gyro, proximity, and compass, and the inputs include 3.5mm audio jack, USB micro USB 2.0, and USB C. The two SIM card slot are designed for micro-SIM with Dual SIM Stand-by capacity.
Huawei 50 is dust and water-resistant (IP68 certified).
