Asus ROG ~ ‘Republic of gamers’
The new Asus ROG Phone 3 will be launched on July 22. The phone was spotted in the TENAA listing with the model number ASUSI003DD and it was also certified by the Wi-Fi Alliance.
It is rumored that the Asus ROG Phone 3 will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ SoC with three gold cores at 2.42 GHz and four Silver efficiency cores at 1.8GHz clocked at a frequency of 3.09 GHz. On the software side, the phone runs on Android 10 OS.
The Asus ROG 3 will measure 171 x 78 x 9.85 mm and weighs about 240 grams. It features a 6.59″ AMOLED display with a 90 Hz refresh rate and an FHD+ resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels and will pack a Li-Po 6000 mAh battery with 30W fast charging support over a USB Type-C charging port.
The device has a triple rear camera setup which includes a 64 MP primary camera, a 13 MP secondary camera, an 8 MP third camera, and a 13 MP selfie camera. The phone will come in three variants of 8GB, 12GB, and 16GB RAM along with 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB internal storage.
Special features include camera supporting 8x zoom, 5G support, in-display fingerprint sensor, and face recognition. It seems that the phone won’t have a headphone jack.
The new Asus ROG Phone 3 is expected to be around ₹72,990.
