The Sony ZV-1 camera has 1″ type (0.52″ x 0.35″) Exmor RS CMOS sensor with aspect ratio 3:2. It uses ZEISS Vario-Sonnar T* Lens, 10 elements in 9 groups (9 aspheric elements including AA lens). It has a fixed 24mm-70mm lens. It is also the first camera from Sony with a proper flip screen.
Special features include variable angles for the screen, Directional three-capsule mic, a bundled windscreen, easy and advanced effects, compatible with Bluetooth grips, quick shift focus, Bokeh effects, AE transactions, dynamic 960fps slow-mo’s, high quality 20.1 MP image capture and perfect 4k videos. It weighs just 294 grams. The ZV-1 also brings optical and electrical image stabilization while shooting in HD.
There is a new directional 3-capsule microphone on the camera to record better audio in front of the lens and a 3.5 mm audio jack is present to connect external mics.
The ZV-1 is packed with Rechargeable Battery Pack (NP-BX1), Micro USB Cable, Wind Screen, Wind Screen Adaptor, and Instruction Manual.
The new Sony ZV-1 could be launched on July 24 and it is said to be priced at $749.99.
