The new Microsoft Surface Headphones 2 looks like the original Surface Headphones but with a few upgraded variations. The headphones have 40 mm Free Edge driver speakers for warm and robust audio.
Connectivity features include Bluetooth versions 4.1, 4.2, and 5.0 and supports SBC and aptX codecs. Interfaces include an audio connector and USB-C connector. The headphones are capable of delivering an output up to 115 dB with a frequency response between 20Hz and 20kHz. The headphones are compatible with Windows 10, Android 9/10, iOS 12/13.
Microsoft used the same 40mm drivers as the original headset. The battery gets charged within two hours. Once fully charged, the headset can be used for about 20 hours. The headphone weighs around 249 grams and measures 204 x 195 x 48 mm.
The canvas case contains a USB-A-to-USB-C charging cable, a 3.5-millimeter auxiliary cable, a Quickstart guide, and Safety and Warranty document.
The cost of the headphones is less compared to the first generation Surface headset. The new Surface headset 2 can be bought at $249 / ₹18,644.75.
