HTC Wildfire R70; aided by AI Technology

HTC had announced the launch of its next mobile phone in February. The phone is likely to arrive in the market before the end of September.

The new HTC Wildfire R70 has a 6.53″ IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display with a pixel density of 263 ppi. The screen delivers a resolution of 720 x 1560 pixels at an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. The handset comes with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.

The phone runs on the Android 9 OS with HTC Sense and powered by a 2.0GHz Octa-core, Mediatek MT6763 Helio P23 processor. A Li-Po 4000mAh battery fuels the handset and it provides a standby time of nearly two days.

HTC Wildfire R70 will be available in Aurora Blue and Night Black.

It comes with a triple camera set-up at the rear with a 16MP primary camera (f/1.75), a 2MP macro lens (f2.4), and a 2MP depth sensor (f/2.4). The front has an 8MP selfie camera with an f/2.0 aperture. The camera features the Pro mode, Macro mode, Beauty mode, Portrait mode, and video recording is available at 1080p@30fps.

The handset has a storage capacity of 2GB RAM and 32GB internal memory. This can further be expanded to up to 256GB using a micro-SD card.

Connectivity features include WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, GLONASS, and GALILEO. Interfaces include two nano-SIM card slots and a 3.5mm audio jack.
